Hajj flights from BD to commence from April 29

Hajj
flights from Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will commence
from April 29, announced Religious Affairs Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain
during a press conference held at the Secretariat on April 8.
Processing of visas for the Hajj pilgrims will be completed within a few days, he further said.
"This year, we have completed all formalities for 5,200 registered hajj pilgrims through the government, including allotment of tents in Mina and Arafah as well as agreements with catering service companies, home or hotel authorities, and transport companies," he informed.
Currently, visa processing is underway, and it will be completed within a few days, he claimed.
This year, 81,900 pilgrims have registered for performing hajj through private agencies, the adviser further mentioned.
Due to the limited quota of pilgrims under each Saudi government agency, pilgrims registered under a total of 753 agencies will perform Hajj through 70 lead agencies, he concluded.
